Open-Plan Log Cabins

The Open-plan log cabins are great for families with younger children, as they are situated within 100m of the centre of Luosto and the restaurants. The cabins sleep 3-6 persons with ease.

The sleeping area in each cabin is completely open-plan and it runs across one end of the cabin. There are 2 comfortable double beds (joined end to end at the lower level) which are built it the cabin wall & then 2 upper single bunk beds.

The cosy, warm and inviting cabins also provide a sitting area beside a log fire perfect for a bedtime story, plus a TV, kitchenette, shower room with sauna and a drying cupboard for your thermal clothing.

1 & 2 Bedroom Log Terrace Cottages

The Log Terrace Cottages can be located a little further from the centre of resort, typically within 800m, but that's a great excuse to enjoy some more sledging on the way to dinner!

The Terrace Cottages vary in terms of decor, but each one is certainly comfortable for your Lapland break. The Cottages have either 1 or 2 bedrooms (usually with twin beds) and a loft area with extra beds or mattresses (very reminiscent of a den for the kids) which you access via a ladder staircase from the lounge.

The lounge is very cosy with a sitting area with log fireplace opening on to the kitchen/diner which has everything you need for a relaxing stay in Lapland.

2 Bedroom Traditional Log Cabins

The 2-bedroom log cabins generally sleep 4-6 people, however, we do have a limited number of cabins that sleep 7 people. This particular style of cabin is most suitable for children age 4 and above.

The cabin layouts vary, however. they usually have 1 bedroom on the ground floor with a double bed or twin beds, plus a loft area with an open landing with twin beds and 1 separate twin bedroom.

Access to the loft area is via a paddle/ladder style staircase, which is securely gated at the top. The sleeping arrangements in the loft area are suitable for adults and children alike and this is a very traditional layout for cabins in Lapland.

In addition, you have all the regular home comforts including a lounge with log fire in which to relax after your adventures in Luosto, a TV, fully equipped kitchenette, shower room with sauna and drying cupboard for your snow suits.

The 2-bedroom log cabins are typically within 850m of the centre of Luosto and the restaurants.

3, 4 and 5 Bedroom Superior Log Cabins

The 3 and 4 Bedroom Log Cabins are generally spacious and are within 600m of the centre of Luosto and the restaurants for your meals. They sleep 6 or 8 people respectively.

Each cabin is individually decorated and furnished with your comfort in mind. The 3 and 4 bedroom cabins bedrooms usually have twin beds and some may include bunk beds for children/teenagers.

The 5 bedroom cabin is within 350m of the resort centre and the small shops and restaurants. This cabin sleeps up to 14 people.  There are 3 twin bedrooms and 2 rooms which have 2 sets of single bunk beds in each room.

All of the cabins have a lovely lounge with log fire in which to snuggle up in and the lounge opens onto a fully equipped kitchenette with seating for dining.

Please note all of the log cabins are individually furnished and may differ from the pictures shown. Subject to availability, customers may use the pool at the Luostotunturi Hotel, a charge is payable locally.
