Before you travel to Lapland, it's important to ensure that you have the correct documentation to enter Finland. Listed below are links to the official websites for passengers travelling from the UK and Ireland for details regarding Passport, Visa and FCO advice.

Travel to Europe

Due to recent changes in passport validity, it is very important that you take the time now to check the validity of your passport.

What does this mean?

  • On the day you arrive into the EU check that your passport 'date of issue' is less than 10 years old.
  • On the day you leave the EU, check your passport will have at least 3 months remaining (based on the date of expiry).

Passport and Visa requirements are your responsibilty, failure to meet these requirements may result in you being denied travel/boarding.
