Magical Interlude (Luosto)
I'd made an inital enquiry via the website and had received both an email quotation and a follow up phone call. When I decided to proceed with my booking, the process couldn't have been easier and my special requets re cabin location were listened to. It's going to be my 3rd time in Lapland with Canterbury Travel and Christmas 2027 can't come soon enough!

Brilliant friendly service..the website has plenty of information..telephone service is fantastic. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable nothing is too much trouble for them. Portal is easy to use and great for updating your details. First time user and definitely recommend.

Trip: Magical Interlude
Excellent itinerary, excellent guide, excellent accommodation, excellent experience that we'll never forget. The only thing we'd give a good to was the choice of food for children. Some kids have a more varied diet, my son ended up going for the adult options most times. Have recommended our trip to everyone we know.

Amazing! It was so well organised and I didn’t have to think about anything. The children had a wonderful time. I can’t recommend enough. We went for 3 nights which I think was a good length of time as 2 nights would have been too short.

Trip: Lapland Arctic Adventure
We have been to Lapland before not this location or with Canterbury travel but I can honestly say it was worth every penny and the excursions were far better than we have experienced before. The only thing I would have changed would be the range of food at the buffet dinner at the hotel for picky guests they would struggle but other than that everything else was perfect for us. I couldn’t say what the highlight of the trip would as we had so many. On the free day we took a walk up to the Ukko-Luosto Scenic Hut which overlooks Luosto and the views from the top of the fell were spectacular. We were also lucky enough to see the northern lights which was again was another highlight. Would I travel again with Canterbury Travel to Luosto…Definitely!!!

Canterbury travel were amazing and it was an unforgettable experience. I regret going for actual Christmas though as I felt it was so super busy on Christmas day itself. Having to be on the bus at 8.20 in the morning was tough and no proper roast. Obviously this is just my families wishes and others might relish in the business of it. I also felt the reindeer looked like they had had enough so If I was recommending to others I would recommend Canterbury but early in the season when they aren't so sad looking maybe. Honey was our star and made a real impact on our kids. My Annie was the saddest when she had to say goodbye, our bus driver was also lovely. Canterbury travel couldn't do enough to make sure we had an awesome trip. I guess you just need to be prepared for being busy and being a fit person would benefit you as my husband who is not fit struggled walking up hill to the restaurant. Not an issue Canterbury can do anything about but certainly something to bare in mind for anyone else booking

Trip: Lapland Arctic Adventure
It was the most magical holiday we have ever had as a family of 5. Canterbury Travel representatives were outstanding and went above and beyond. It was truly amazing and a trip we will always remember. Once in a lifetime holiday.
